As part of their outreach to the community, I was tasked with creating a number of different advertising pieces to spread awareness of the event and entice people to purchase tickets to attend.
The campaign consisted of:
I designed an advertisement to be run on bus shelters throughout downtown Charlotte.
Half-page print ads ran in the Charlotte Observer to promote the event as well.
The event was also promoted on the Charlotte Observer website. I created HTML5 ads in Adobe Animate and incorporated the event branding to help raise visibility.
Event stationery became a large component of the campaign. I designed a Save the Date card and email which was sent out to event invitees throughout the few months leading up to the event. The email was hand-coded in HTML and deployed in Constant Contact.
Community Link wanted those invited to have multiple ways to purchase tickets to this event. To accommodate this, I designed a formal invitation as well as a ticket package which could be given as a gift during the holidays.
The event was held on April 22nd, 2017 at the Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC. Event attendees received a program which explained the initiatives of Community Link, as well as enticed people to participate in the various raffles and give-aways throughout the event that evening.
